A piece recorded for the Chain Tape Collective project, 'Quartet'

The idea was to produce a piece of music played by a quartet of similar instruments (eg, string quartet). I had originally recorded this piece using 2 soprano and 2 tenor ukuleles, but the 2 instruments did not sit well together in the mix, so eventually I decided to use 4 soprano ukes.

Each part recorded onto one track of my Boss microBR recorder using the inbuilt microphone and edited in Reaper DAW.

The title comes simply from the shape of the instruments bridge. But I thought that 'Dolphin Saddle' was a much more interesting title than Dolphin Bridge (images of riding the surf on a sea mammal).
