I love the phrase 'Malleable Boujie'. A Malleable Bougie is a long bendy device used by anaesthetists to aid intubation. I'll be honest here, I actually misspelt the word bougie, but didn't discover my error until after I'd done all the artwork for this CD. However, all is not lost, as boujie is defined as
'A person who embodies an attitude or state of mind of superior taste, inclination toward posh and luxurious goods, magnificent fashion sense, and an ultra chic persona that lends to the title of being Boujie'
in the Urban Dictionary (
www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=boujie – seems to be a derivation of the word bourgeoisie), so the phrase 'malleable boujie' does have some meaning in itself, although I like to think of it more as a clever wordplay.
The track itself is one of the few pieces (perhaps the only piece?) on this album that used instruments other than electric guitars, namely acoustic guitar, bass guitar and shakers!
